It's hike in only, just don't expect to be able to unload your car and set up camp. It'll take you about 45min hike to get there from the nearest parking.

Very quiet, flush toilet, you can hear animals and volunteer patricia was very helpfull

Amazingly well kept trail. If you have horses, there is a tie up area and water for overnight or just a pit stop - up to you. It more or less a layover camp.

Nicely placed near the Backbone Trail—plus!—but too trafficked for my tastes. There wasn't a pen in the permit box, and the site numbers were unclear. However, the trees in the area are beautiful, as are the views! If you're super just getting into backpacking, and live in the LA area, I recommend planning a trip here. The toilet is nice and well stocked and water is available, along with trash. Don't forget to walk a bit further to the east down the trail, but still in the camp area, to find some more secluded camping spots!
